"You spend a week on the land and then it rains three days and a week later you’re doing it all over again. Just tired of dealing with the mud this year..."

We are lucky the crop area flooded is not California. Most of our corn goes into gas tanks on an ethanol scam or as animal feed.

IA grain bins failing. that is last year's corn that farmers were storing 'till prices improved. now they've lost most of their corn and their bins.

In the total picture, this doesn't amount to a hill of bean. Of course it matters to the tiny percentage (far less than 1%) of farmers whose land is flooded. The media make it appear to be a big deal that 1 million acres of farmland in the USA is flooded. However, that is slightly more than one tenth of 1% (1 acre per 1,000 acres) of the total farmland in the USA because the other almost 900 million acres of farmland in the USA is not flooded.
