A Southern California resort town, with the idyllic name of Idyllwild, has been cut off from neighboring towns ever since severe storms triggered flooding and mudslides in the area more than four months ago.

And there’s no relief in sight – the roads will likely continue to be closed for months, California transportation officials said in a press release.

The Valentine’s Day storms killed two people, destroyed homes and buildings and washed out roads and levees.

Damage was especially heavy on state roads 74 and 243 – the only routes into and out of Idyllwild, which is in the San Jacinto Mountains. A 200-foot crater opened on Highway 243, destroying a large stretch of the road, according to the Press-Enterprise newspaper.

No money for the legal citizens. Everything goes to illegals. Just saw a video of a bus driver making $19 an hour 40 hours a week who has to live in his van because he can't afford rent.
