Expect food prices to spike up over the next 12 months. This is west Tennessee within the range of the New Madrid fault. Tennessee has several rivers that empty into another and then into the Ohio river. My chosen area is below Nashville. No rivers but lots of rain.

During the Maunder Minimum the sun radiated less heat. Wheat prices rose 400% in the UK.

But Dr Valentina Zarkhova has noticed that more significant than the slight global cooling is the reduction of the sun's magnetosphere. This allows more cosmic rays (nuclear particles from distant decaying stars) to strike the earth. The New Madrid fault had a major quake during the Maunder Minimum on 12-25-1699. During the Dalton Minimum, the New Madrid fault had 4 quakes on 3 days in 1811-1812.

Japanese scientists also noted an increase in the number of volcanoes during a Grand Solar Minimum. The likely cause of the increase in both quakes and volcanoes is the increased number of cosmic rays energizing the earth.

We are entering the Eddy Grand Solar Minimum in 2019. Winter 2019-2020 will be harsh. The first of many to come. Also expect the reduced earth magnetopshere to let the Jet Stream to wander about causing wild changes in weather patterns. The floods in the Midwest and in west Tennessee are examples of this reduction in the earth's magnetosphere.

Nat Geo or some major pundit said we're living thru a major ice age, that it's abnormal for so much of the plant to be miserably frigid, in winter or out.

When I was still long-term planning my escape from JJ, it came as a shock to learn that it gets hellish cold in most of Dixie every year.

But the sun is also a magnet. When the Sun's magnet is strong, it blocks cosmic rays (nuclear particles) from striking the earth. During a Minimum, the reduced solar magnetism allows more cosmic rays to strike the earth. This in turn increases the number and severity of both earthquakes and volcanoes. The reduced earth magnetism allows the Jet Stream to wander around causing unusual weather patterns with drought in some areas and floods in others.

This should last from 40 to 70 years. We have never had more that a billion people on earth during a previous Minimum. Only 450 million during the Maunder and a billion during the Dalton Minimum. At least 3 billion will die. Expect Civil War.

It will be hell on earth until half of the US current population either dies or flees the country. Healthcare will collapse tens of millions will die. And tens of millions will commit suicide. And tens of millions will flee the country. But that leaves tens of millions to die either of violence, pestilence or starvation.

The Eddy Grand Solar minimum should push food prices higher. We have an interest bearing currency that pushes out a lot of debt. We have too many debts and interest payments for the economy to function. A Depression is a period in time when Unpayable Debts are cancelled en masse. That should start within 2 years- either before or after the 2020 elections.

I expect the US stock market to tumble. Investors will sell stocks and buy commodities. When the Dollar is rest,it will not buy things overseas. Our wages are cut 50%. Crime will flourish. Many people without criminal records will systematically loot others. Lots of people in local militias will simultaneously defend white peope from petty but violent and disorganized thugs. They will systematically loot the "bad people" the militias don't like.

Do not go overseas. The locals will be impoverished and look at you as what's for dinner.

Alaska was surprisingly good during the Maunder Minimum. Live in a rural area in the US below the 40th parallel. Live with a network of friends and family. Loners won't survive. Learn to garden and to sprout.
