The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has suspended its annual surveys of the honeybee population as the federal agency increasingly turns toward representing big agricultural interests rather than regulating them.

What’s to understand? They’ve bioengineered plants to secrete pesticides. Bees visit a lot of plants. Bees die. Issue has been around for decades, but nobody wants to take on Monsanto because they will destroy you.

I was a beekeeper in Illinois for years. I had 3 hives. When I moved to Missouri I could not take them with. But there was another beekeeper nearby who took them over. I had some really good honey. ;)
