The funniest part of this video is that the U.S. has been spending much more than it takes in for quite some time. Deficit spending has become the norm.

Bill Clinton borrowed all the money from the Social Security trust fund and left IOUs in it. Now all Social Security payments must be budgeted. ;)

Congress could order the U.S. Treasury to mint a coin with a face value of the National Debt and pay it off in one fell swoop.

But none of those Congresscritters would have the guts to do it.

BTW, I think Sanders is trying to outmaneuver the New Green Deal. ;)

Yes and I believe that is what put a bullseye on Lincoln's back.

John Wilkes Booth was not just a southern sympathizer, but an agent of the European bankers who Lincoln spurned to print the non-interest bearing Greenbacks.

During the Civil War, the British were considering entering the war on the side of the South.

Lincoln had a good Ambassador in Russia and he convinced the Tsar to send the Russian Navy to New York Harbor and San Francisco Bay.

When the British saw this they changed their minds about entering the war.

The Russians and British had been adversaries during the Crimean War in 1854. ;)

The father was a silversmith back in London. The family was from Portugal. Booth is from the Jewish harvest festival, Harvest of Booths. They built little huts in the fields to live there during the harvest so your neighbors couldn't steal your crops?
