JM Bullion is selling one dollar in pre-1965 quarters for $15.28. Minimum wage in 1963 was $1.25 or $19.10 in today's money. What happened to American workers? They were inundated with legal and illegal aliens who drove down wages and drove up rents.

Might I point out that the population of Mexico in 1950 was 28 million. Today there are 34 million Mexican Americans and 132 million people in Mexico. Solving the over population problems of Latin America, Africa, the Mideast and Asia is way beyond our ability.

The metals took a decent boost today, whether it's a race to the moon or not, we'll see...

This is a long and drawn out response you are going to get.

In Latin America, the Catholic Church and white European farming methods are the key to the large growth of the population there.

Africa is the same. Before whites came in the blacks were tribal and populations were kept down naturally. White farming methods caused a spike in birth rates since more food could feed more people.

In the middle east the Arabs have had to deal with Israeli atrocities and this also kept populations in check. The U.S. invasion of Iraq caused great loss of life and destroyed the farming there.

As for Asia, well who could have predicted that one billion Chinese would be around now. The latest I heard is a one child per family policy.

Same for India. They are cutting the forests so quickly there that Cobra's are coming out looking for food and it is causing a panic. ;)
