An explosive edition of 60 MINUTES will expose shocking allegations about the conduct of some of Australia’s elite soldiers during the conflict in Afghanistan. After two years of exhaustive research, award-winning journalists Nick McKenzie and Chris Masters will reveal unpalatable truths about a group of men Australians think of as heroes. They’re elite soldiers from the Special Air Service (SAS) and Commando regiments who fought in the Australia’s longest war. While it’s not in dispute the men put their lives on the line for their country, what is questioned is the way a small number of them did battle. Damning allegations from fellow soldiers claim the men routinely took the law into their own hands and committed what could amount to serious war crimes, including the execution of innocent civilians and detainees. This story is a joint investigation by the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and 60 MINUTES.

Afghanis were living pitifully boring lives before 911 -- so white bread. Then in a flash, something gave their lives meaning -- permanent siege and war by the world's 5 largest white countries! This full color video shows the tradition of our classic wars is NOT dead. Young troops are still showing dusty alien peasants who's boss -- they're really KICKING ASS all right!

Did they behave worse than NATO troops?

My impression of those SAS men was most favorable. They were thoughtful, well-spoken and are now fully cognizant of all the implications of "going to war."

Yes, it's just terrible. Look how proud he is of killing all those people and helping destroy their countries! Wonder how many other husbands and fathers he's personally whacked.

Australia belongs in the War Of Terror like it belongs in your refrigerator. It's a huge, eternal stain on its honor that it's run along with the Anglo- ameriKan war mob on so many occasions.

I'm sure that they still want our protection from any Oriental aggressor(s).
