If I were Trump, after the Donkey conventions I would announce an offer for her appointment to her choice of positions in the NSA, State Dept, DOD or CIA.

After 3 terms in the US House of Representatives, she can retire and draw her full congressional salary with cost of living raises and the best benefits (medical, etc.) that taxpayer money can buy for the rest of her life.

Thanks for that, Lod! I was under the impression that they drew full salary immediately after retiring, at any age. While their deal is still sweeter than anything we mundanes could ever get, it's not as sweet as I thought it was.

Glad I checked on it: I too thought that it was immediate PAYDAY for them. If she stays in the Reserves, she could easily make Lt.Gen. at least, and bag another 15K/month retirement (I did not check that number, just projecting 25 years down the line).
