China sold what pork they had stored in freezers to keep prices from rising too high during a national holiday. There is a world wide food shortage developing as we go into a period of Global Cooling. During the Maunder Minimum wheat prices rose 400% in the UK.

I bet pork commands premium prices over there now. And if we are able to sell more pork to the Chinese prices here will also increase. The way things stand at the moment, pork is still relatively inexpensive compared to beef. ;)
