This is Michigan. When I lived in Illinois, I knew this girl who was a bartender. She had a kid. She was looking for a new boyfriend I suppose. Anyway, she met some guy and they moved back to Michigan where she was from originally.

After seeing this stuff about Michigan I am glad I am not there. ;)

Unpaid property taxes are a bad debt. If the homeowner moves before he pays and the property changes hands, the tax is collected and the property tax is paid when the deal is closed. They must have done the deal away from the county court house or without a realtor. ;)

No. Title was cleared. It was Ex Post Facto due to clerical errors from the county.

Here, the land valuation is 3-4 times higher than the improvement.

Problem solved to taxing entities: sucks for real-property owners.

It was Ex Post Facto due to clerical errors from the county.

Do they know what the Constitution says about things that are Ex Post Facto? ;)
