One thing that must be kept in mind. When you consider all of the U.S. weapons systems and aircraft the Saudis have bought since the mid-70s or earlier, the source of much of the Islamic extremism in the world are the Wahabbi Madrassa's. ;)

Outside of the mexican drug cartels in north america, I'd guess that 99% of the world's terrorism is mohammed, and his koran, inspired and sanctioned.
