In a clear example of a US establishment shielding police from brutality, UPS released a bizarre statement thanking police for killing their driver, while CNN and NBC obscured officers from any wrongdoing.
27-year-old UPS driver Frank Ordonez was killed as police officers riddled his vehicle with bullets Friday. A pair of suspected robbers had hijacked his truck as he drove through Broward County in Southeastern Florida. Ordonez was an unwilling participant in a long and dangerous chase, as police followed the truck speeding through red lights, finally stopping when they hit heavy, rush hour traffic.
19 police officers opened fire on the truck from all angles with bystanders all around, making no attempt to negotiate the situation. Unsurprisingly, the suspects, Ordonez and another unnamed nearby commuter, 70-year-old union representative Richard Cutshaw, were killed.

From the video it does not appear that the driver was killed in "cross fire".
The government agents shot and killed him as he was crawling out the door. Just like they murdered Daniel Shaver four years in Phoenix.

I am nearly blind and can barely read a screen at six inches. That is a problem, not a handicap.
Last night near my home, the State Police killed a man that had shot a state trooper earlier in the day. He was a Vietnam vet, mentally unstable. They could have gone away and out waited him, instead they brought in armored vehicles , gassed him and he died. Now am I or my neighbors up in arms????
The State Police needed to end the standoff and they did. Two of the police took shots FIRST. An innocent disabled mentally ill olde man is dead.
No one is happy about it, NO ONE IS CONDEMNING THE POLICE. And we all knew the olde man, some for a lifetime.
