The mayor of a rural French community has taken the rather extreme and outlandish decision to ban residents from “dying in their homes on Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays” due to a lack of doctors in the area.

They could fine you for dying on the weekend. Sort of like charging people to drive at those certain hours when everyone has to go to work.

Why would somebody who has died need a doctor, anyway? They must do things differently over there. I know they hold their fork in the wrong hand.
