US Attorney Thomas Cullen made a name for himself by aggressively prosecuting members of the "Rise Above Movement" who fought with antifa in the run up to Trump's election and others who attended the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville.

From The Roanoke Times, "Trump nominates U.S. Attorney Cullen for federal judgeship":

President Donald Trump nominated U.S. Attorney Thomas Cullen for a federal judgeship in the Western District of Virginia on Wednesday.

[...] Cullen is a 42-year-old native of Richmond who lives in Roanoke. He was nominated for the judicial vacancy created when U.S. District Court Judge Glen Conrad claimed senior status two years ago.

The four-seat, Roanoke-based court has operated with reduced judicial resources ever since and would welcome seeing its vacant district judgeship filled.

Cullen must first be confirmed by the U.S. Senate. If confirmed, he would receive a lifetime appointment. The pay is about $220,000 a year.

Trump probably has no idea who Cullen even is but this is just more evidence he has no power over his own presidency and no command of the federal bureaucracy.

Trump has repeatedly praised folks who fought with antifa and even said he was considering declaring antifa a "major organization of terror" but his own appointees have aggressively prosecuted his own supporters for fighting with antifa under the archaic Anti-Riot Act in a way deemed too radical for even a California judge.

Thomas Cullen, U.S. attorney for the western district of Virginia, said investigations have long shown that guns cross state lines in the region before they are used to commit crimes.

“Too many guns from Virginia are ending up on the streets of D.C., Baltimore and other cities in the Northeast,” Cullen said. “This is tragic and unacceptable, and together we need to do more to solve this particular problem.”

fix is in.

When I worked for State of Illinois, one of the black guys had the exact same birthday as I did.

One time he got busted and went to jail. A month later the same thing happened to me.

Don't ask what it was all about since the memory is not too clear because of the meningitis. ;)

Vince Foster

Who dat?

Vince Foster was a lawyer with the Bill Clinton administration. He was a member of Rose Law Firm, the same firm that Hillary was in.

Vince Foster was found dead in his car at Ft. Marcy Park of apparent suicide. ;)
