Texas, meanwhile, is likely to gain three seats...

Hopefully, the last conservative leaves the state before those Mega Quakes and Volcanoes take down the entire state. They have volcanoes from Mt Shasta to Mt Whitney to several at Salton Sea plus that one Super volcano that could spew enough ash to wipe out all the water sources in ponds, lakes, creeks, rivers and reservoirs. Quakes would take out sewers, water pipes, roads, hospitals, dams and homes that life would be unlivable. Might be easier for foreigners to go back home to Mexico or Asia than to drive without roads and gasoline to Las Vegas.

I fled California in 1996 and moved to Texas. I live in a small town filled with "normal" people (excluding myself of course) and my main regret is not having a clear vision of the deterioration of major cities in California and other States. It's almost like living in a vacuum and I'm certain many others are having similar experiences of being distant from the metro.
Texas as a State isn't immune to the negatives affecting most States. The major metropolitan areas are experiencing the negative effects of socialist politically correct issues and the after burn caused by laws like the "UN" Patriotic Patriot Act.
Additionally, my son and his family left California because of the mandatory vaccine laws in that State. Mandating the injection of toxic substances into an infant is psychotic and truthfully less people are buying into the vast complex of lies and deceit being force fed to them by the liars in government and Big Pharma.
