In a stunning move, the Des Moines Register newspaper, along with their partners CNN and Selzer and Co., decided to NOT release the results of the last poll this past weekend before Mondays Democrat caucuses. According to The War Room on Sunday morning Pete Buttigiegs campaign complained because his supporters complained that his name was omitted by at least one pollster. Other campaigns had reported similar omissions, from different polling areas. Bernie Sanders supporters were upset the most! On Monday night the Five-Thirty Eight website obtained a copy of the Registers final poll AND JOE BIDEN WAS IN 4th PLACE!
If youre the sort of person who was glued to political Twitter on Saturday night and God help you if you are you would have seen a mass freak-out when it was announced that that the Des Moines Register would not release the much-anticipated final version of its Iowa Poll (conducted in conjunction with CNN and Selzer & Co.). The Buttigieg campaign got word that at least one survey respondent had been read an incomplete questionnaire that did not include Buttigiegs name. While this appears to be isolated to one surveyor, that could not be confirmed with certainty, the executive editor of the paper wrote, and acting with an abundance of caution, they declined to release the poll at all. Nevertheless, a tweet made the rounds that night purporting to give the polls results, and after doing some reporting around this, FiveThirtyEight can confirm that it contains the correct final findings of the unreleased Iowa poll: Sanders 22 percent, Warren 18 percent, Buttigieg 16 percent, Biden 13 percent. Imagine the news cycle that would have been, with national front-runner Biden making such a poor showing in the last, highest-profile poll before the caucuses.

We were making a delivery in Des Moines with the straight truck. Some guy put a concrete block in front of the rear tire.
He went up on the dock and into the truck. A black guy on a fork life came by and went into the truck box. The guy who went in there was directing the fork lift driver, "Put the forks under the crate and lift it up".
When the driver did as instructed, the guy in the truck box said, "Now push."
As soon as he did that the truck rolled away from the dock. The black guy on the fork lift must have turned white and he started screaming, "Get me off here!"
I ran out the dock door and jumped a short chain link fence and got to the truck, started it and backed it up to the dock. They had to bring in a bigger fork lift to pull that one out of the way.
We finally got the crate off the truck. But this is something I will never forget since it is so seldom you see a black guy turn white with fear. The blood drained from his face. ;)
