Not that Iran could be faulted for it, of course. The Tornado plane shot down was similarly imported to SA from France. Any country that isn't selling weapons in this day and age is just missing out on all the fun and games.

And the money.
I knew a Bird Colonel in the Pentagon who was vying to be the world's leading arms merchant. He sold a Billions of Dollars of U.S. weapons systems to the Saudis. Of course they had the oil money to pay for it all.
Now with this war with the Houthis in Yemen they are running their reserves for parts very low if not short of many of them.
After the 2nd attempt of the life of Gerald Ford, Colonel Donn Grand Pre retired to his farm in Virginia. He began looking into what was going on in this country. His first book was titled Barbarians Inside The Gates and may still be found online. His wife told me several years ago it was out of print. I was selling the books when I lived in Lebanon. I may have a couple of them around but would need to look.
Anyone interested in his books may PM me. Thanks. I need to get those books back online. They were on my blog, btpholdings.blogspot.com Have not been on there in quite a while. Old articles on there too.

Yes he was. I am happy to say I stopped in at his farm in Virginia when I was driving the truck and talked with him in person. His wife told me, "I remember a young man stopping by to visit who was driving a truck."
She sent me a box full of his books for the cost of postage. His Book IV lists for $150 on AFP Bookstore. On Ebay they asking $179. I can let anyone have one for $130 ppd.
He started out as a radio operator in Burma during WW II and ended up in OCS. He fought in Korea and was wounded twice. He worked his way up to Bird Colonel in the Pentagon and was Chief of Arms sales.
He sold the Saudis many of our weapons systems and aircraft. Now with the Saudi war against Yemen they are running short of spare parts. That is a fly in the ointment for them. ;)
