The last time I worked a week ago now, I told the guy I was with that he'd never have to buy toilet paper again. I explained to him that as soon as the panic subsides, all he'd have to do is drive around his neighborhood on garbage night and pick it up laying next to people's garbage cans.
Toilet paper takes up a lot of space and the sheep are going to need room for all the Chinese doo-dads they'll buy in the coming months.
Shipping it would be a horrible waste of time, money and resources.
Donate it to a food bank or something.
Indeed.

After pondering the stupidity of the sheep for awhile, it hit me:
I'll bet you can't buy a deep-freezer anywhere in town to save your ass.
Those should be hitting the second-hand market this summer for about a dime-a-dozen (garbage men won't take appliances with refrigerant in them).
I have two, thanks to Mom dying (one mine, one hers). That's how I can get away with only going to the grocery every 2 or 3 months.

The meat is always the first thing to go. It was that way here when the Cash Saver store closed. ;)

Hoarding here in Ft. Wayne isn't an unusual phenomena, it happens before every snowstorm that comes down the pike, but that is never ongoing like this is.
Most of this stuff is going to end up in the landfill. You could have a hell of a party/cookout, but it's illegal to have gatherings now. :P
There was plenty of liquor at the store yesterday, didn't check the beer. I guess people aren't planning parties, just the Zombie Apocalypse. Ugh.

When I worked concerts I knew a guy that would deliver a quarter ounce of blow to Rolling Stones dressing room before the show.
For Jagger that would just be a warm up. ROTFLOL

I knew an old boy when I worked for State we called "the farmer". One time he said, "Did you ever try a corn cob? It's soft." LOL
