Shutdowns are not a scam. The R naught for this greater than 6. An R naught of 3 means that one person over time could infect 59,000. If R naught =6 which is likely true for this virus, then one person could infect exponentially more than 59,000. The doubling period seems to be every 6 days so far.100,000 known to be infected but the true numer is over one million. If I double one million 6 times, then I will have 64 million infected Americans which in less than a week becomes 128 million.

Ingraham has shown the the actual death like .5 per hundred. That would be a lot of sufferers and total 1,670,000 dead in ameriKa -- IF no effecting treatment is deployed.

But even 10 million dead could never justify killing the country, which is what an this shutdown is doing as we speak.

There is the mortality rate -- so far, and then there's the hospitalization rate. The current death rate is pretty much based on the fact that everyone who needed hospitalization got it. But what is the death rate if those who need hospitalization don't get it? It's an important question because if hospitals do get overwhelmed -- and they are getting overwhelmed -- then people who need hospitalization won't get it and will die even though they could have lived had they gotten it.

Where I am, people are dying. People dying in homes isn't unusual in a big city but word is rates are up substantially.
