The King of Thailand has taken a harem of 20 concubines with him into self-isolation at a grand hotel in southern Germany, it has been reported.

The king is 63 and will be 64 in July. At that age, I would have been glad to get just two women to hold up in a hotel with me for the duration of the lockdown. In the old days the winner of the Miss Thailand beauty contest was expected to offer her body to the king.
