I have an acquaintance who immigrated from Putin's Russia. He said there is no such thing as "former" KGB. He was a millionaire who had his business stolen by Putin, par for the course, apparently, in Russia. He calls Putin the richest man in the world, from thievery and thuggery.

That's just it. Russia is the once and future USSR, it's thuggerment a cabal of criminals -- many stinking of gefiltefish. But ppl desperately look to it for something better than what we've got in the USSA. Since Putin seems so much less horrible than our presidents, ameriKans see him thru rose-colored glasses.
