Interesting, maybe everybody's too afraid to die.
Reduced automobile travel may play a part.

I suppose we can speculate on the dozens of reasons, primarily based on limited personal contact.
I saw a headline that kid abuse is rising and that doesn't surprise me either.
Gasoline was $1.299 last I saw.
Kids not in school and teachers not instructing is something new to the equation. Maybe some online stuff.

Maybe everybody already died in February.

A friend believes he had it in December now that this is primary news for weeks.
He was laid out for some days with some respiratory symptoms too. He thought it was a bad cold or flu. We talked about two days ago.
I hope he's not contagious; I'm pretty sure he's not since he's fine now. I'm not sure how this immunity thing works once you have it and survive.

Interesting. Glad to hear your friend is fine now.
My daughter believes that she and her family all went through it in January, and my wife and I were both sick then, too.
More and more people are saying the same thing now -- maybe they had early corona -- some looking back as far as November or December.
Who knows?

She's the only one I know who's actually "tested" positive.

The VA sent an alert that there will be no face-to-face doctor visits for a period of time. I'm healthy for an older guy with bad habits.
Gonna get another beer and a cig.
This isolation stuff is wearing me down.
Edit: I know no one infected personally either. Henry, my mechanic, thinks he may have had it.

Solid plan, the alcohol will help sterilize the gut while the smoke will create a hostile environment for any viruses.
I endorse, support, and practice this action plan for better health.
