Democrats seized on the coronavirus outbreak to push for their long sought after goal of having all elections conducted by mail in voting.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama is the latest high profile Democrat to sign on to a public pressure campaign to force Congress to include funding for a federal takeover of elections with universal mail in voting in the next round of coronavirus relief legislation.
Axios exclusively reported that:
Michelle Obama will throw her support today behind expanding vote-by-mail options, advisers tell Axios, with her voting rights group embracing legislation before Congress amid coronavirus fears.
“There is nothing partisan about striving to live up to the promise of our country; making the democracy we all cherish more accessible; and protecting our neighbors, friends and loved ones as they participate in this cornerstone of American life,” the former first lady said in a statement provided to Axios.
The legislation was introduced by Reps. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), Suzan DelBene (D-WA) and Jamie Raskin (D-MD) in the House and Sen. Ron Wyden in the Senate.
The Obamas were staying mostly on the sidelines of the 2020 election through the Democratic primary season, but they spoke out against the Wisconsin Supreme Court decision preventing the state’s voting deadline from being extended.
Vote by mail allows Democrats to avoid voter ID laws and sets the table for massive fraud and ballot box stuffing.
President Trump opposes this scheme because he knows no Republican will ever win another election should the country adopt all mail-in voting for election.
Democrats know this as well, which is why Michelle Obama and others are trying to exploit the national emergency to bully Republicans into sealing their own political doom.

The worst thing ever done was to institute Motor Voter. This is the cause of much voter fraud since illegals need their license to drive.

I'm no fan of politicians of any stripe, but think about what things would be like now, with her as president.
