The 'oh shit moment' returns?

That was like when working New Kids on the Block on north side at Rosemont.

Band Security wanted me to stand behind the stage since there were a couple of girls in the first row that had the spring in their step like they might try to jump and get onstage. It was only 4 feet to the stage. It would have been stupid to do that since the lights on back of stage got to be 300 degrees and would take your skin right off if you touched them.

I was standing in the shadows of the stage. I look over in the corner and this girl came down the stairs and stands at the end of the first row where no one is sitting. And she is looking over the rail. I'm thinking, "I don't believe it. She is going to jump."

When the lights went down at the end of the song she slipped her leg over the rail. When she popped up from behind the equipment box, I was standing in front of her. She had that "Oh shit, I didn't think anyone seen me or would try to stop me" look on her face.

I grabbed her by the wrist and took her out and told her, "Go back to your seat and don't try that again." She wanted to get onstage with her heroes. LOL
