We have some inside baseball on food around here -- our daughter works at the grocery store up the road a ways. She can call us when the meat truck rolls in.

I don't care. I don't eat meat. I was born a vegetarian. Family forced me to eat meat. Gave it up as an adult until 1974 when I settled down in Boston and stopped moving about.

Interesting. Never heard anybody say that before.

But I don't doubt it. Everybody's wired different. I was born a country boy; can't stand cities. Would never want to live in one. My ideal situation would be living 7 miles from a town with 500 people in it. Hardware store (an old timey one that sells guns and ammo and garden supplies), grocery store, a diner with no music, and maybe an auto parts store are all I need. I could drive a few more miles to a lumber yard a few times a year.
