An Atlanta man has been charged with felony murder after allegedly shooting his stepson during an altercation over lockdown orders, police say.
Bernie Hargrove, 42, was arrested Wednesday evening after his stepson, De’Onte Roberts, was found gravely wounded at the family home by Atlanta police.
Roberts, 16, had reportedly “been shot in the chest during a domestic dispute with his stepfather,” according to CNN.
Roberts later passed away at Grady Memorial Hospital.
“According to a statement police shared with CNN, the dispute began earlier in the day, when Roberts refused his parents’ order to remain at home and comply with recent shelter-in-place directives, his mother told detectives,” CNN reports.
“When Roberts returned home and kicked in the door to the house, a physical fight began between Roberts and Hargrove, the mother told detectives.”

Georgia is now one of the first states in the U.S. to begin easing lockdown orders, as hair salons, gyms, tattoo parlors and other select businesses have been allowed to reopen as of Friday.

When I lived in Chicago, there was this little bar on Clark St. about a block or so from where I went to grade school. They had a pretty good country rock band in there.
Three Mexicans that sat at the bar called me Caballero Grande since I always dressed nice and never got in any fights.
One night two guys went outside to fight. The crowd gathers around. One guy knocks the other down. And some guy standing the watching said, "That's it. Now you got him down. Kick him in the head. Put to boot to him."
Another night, my buddy was crossing the street to come in there. A squad car pulled up with three cops in it. They said to him, "Come here." Then they asked what he was doing there. He told them, I meet a couple buddies here for a few beers. Why are you asking?"
One of the cops said "Someone just shot three niggers over on Wilson Ave and we think he came over this way." :-/
That place had a lot of hillbillies in it. One night the front door opens with a crash and this guy walked in. He had a stringy beard and was wearing a Dago T. He looked around and walks up to the dance floor.
There was a little girl bopping around with some guy wearing a suit that came in there after work. He grabs her by the arm and spins her around and slaps her and says, "Git home!"
The bartender hollered at them, "Get the hell out of here!"
Life in the big city sucks sometimes. :-/

Good point, all I know is that Diplomat Drive is a no-go place for 2600K (Warm white) guys like me.
One outta three is the best I'm able to sustain.
If you still find yourself in a semi-decent mood, drag out 2019 tax forms you've had to do three times, driving your tax accountant to suicide and ruminate on that for awhile.
