Home Alone II Lost In New York could never have been made under these circumstances.

We were working security at night for the original Home Alone set since it was shot in north suburbs of Chicago. We had to use our personal vehicles for this.

I got paged for an icing complaint. So I told them I had to leave. I went to Northbrook yard and got a truck and went out to the location.

There had been an accident and the right lane was closed. I start to spread salt and wouldn't you know, a rock jams the auger.

I get out with a steel bar and start to work to clear the jam.

One of the cops standing there watching said, "Not only do you have to know how to drive them, you have to know how to fix them."

I got the jam cleared in about 20 minutes. I spread the salt and they opened the road.

If I had to go back to the yard and switch trucks they would have been there a couple more hours. ;)

I have only flown twice since '01, and only then because of absolute necessity. I've been across the country (over 2,000 miles each way) four times driving. The TSA can is a violation of my God-given unalienable right to be unmolested in my person without probable cause.

Everything everything everything is claimed to be for our "SECURITY" and "SAFETY" now. They've found that's the recipe for tyranny that works, because we've basically become a matriarchal society dominated by irrational feminine emotions.

They simply tried this and that and schemed and theorized till they found which buttons to push to get where they wanted to be. Our minds are their computer, you see -- our psychology and behavior is their programming.
