There were no restrictions, people carried on with their normal lives, except those that died. Estimated 675 thousand Americans died.
They had their freedom to travel, small expense to pay.

This is a most ridiculous lock down, the people pushing it are authoritarian twerps and I know you are not so naive as to think the consequences of this unnecessary shut down are not of a devastating magnitude. On top of all of that, you and I will not be alive long enough to suffer the very long term damage being done to the future of our POSTERITY. I don't get a government stipend or anything like it. I work for a living. I have raised my family but have children and grand children that will want to know just what the fuck happened to their lives on my watch.
I believe that all belongs to God including my children and grand children. If God decides to allow their untimely demise because of this bullshit bio-weapon then so be it.
The health of the country is far more important than any one of us.

I suppose you're right about hyperventilating and it's extreme on both sides of the lock down sentiment.
Most of the lock down orders are folks I wouldn't let babysit my kids. The MSM is propagandizing us 24/7 and no one should appreciate their venomous attacks on our freedom.
We the people have been locked out of any impact upon government to a very large degree by "working within the system" ! At some point this dam must break and it will be very dangerous for everyone.
Yes, people will die and there might be very many, I expect there will. Even with that unwanted likelihood we owe it to the future to stand for freedom and "death to tyrants" !
