That's right. Police are the tyrants' Praetorian Guard, protecting them from us mere mundanes.

Proof: Any governor and attorney general could stop IDF-style police brutality in their state in one day if they wanted to. But they don't want to disgruntle their bodyguards, and they want their wives and children to remain immune to the abuses that thug cops inflict on us peons every day.

The cops will never beat the governor's daughter half to death at a traffic stop, or throw a flash bang grenade into her bedroom window and blow up her child sleeping in a crib.
