I know a girl from south Alabama whose father was in the oil business in Nigeria. His oil company had an office on an island in eastern Mediterranean. He was murdered in Nigeria and this girl has been traipsing around Nigeria and then back to the U.S. and then back to Nigeria for the last four years trying to get her inheritance.
I do not know where she is getting the money to do all this travelling. But last time she came back to the U.S. she could only get as far as Atlanta. She found a small furnished apartment to get into but she had no food. The closest Salvation Army kitchen was in Rome, 70 miles away. She said she got some food from one of her neighbors in Atlanta.
Apparently she is back in Nigeria now to light a fire under the lawyers chair to get him moving on obtaining her inheritance. You know how that goes. Once they get your money it is like pulling teeth to get them to do anything. :-/
