Look at a map. Reno, Nevada is 25 miles west of Los Angeles. That is due to earthquakes. We just entered a Grand Solar Minimum which increases the number and intensity of both earthquakes and volcanoes. California will fall into the ocean soon enough anyway. Might need another wall to keep them inside the state.

We drove thru there with a load on the truck going to California after being stuck for two days at Sapp Bros. Truck stop in Evanston, Wyoming during a blizzard.
