While serving as Minnesota’s chief prosecutor between 1999 and 2007, Klobuchar declined to bring charges against more than two dozen officers who had killed citizens while on duty – including against the cop that killed George Floyd.
The latest example of America’s racist police brutality problem was caught on camera in Minneapolis Monday, as Officer Derek Chauvin knelt on 46-year-old African-American George Floyd’s neck for over seven minutes until he passed out and died. In its headline on its website, Minneapolis police described the event as “man dies after medical incident during police interaction,” laundering themselves of any responsibility. Chauvin continued his assault even as Floyd desperately pleaded that he could not breathe, while bystanders protested his brutality. “You’re fucking stopping his breathing there, bro,” warned one concerned passer-by. Even after passing out, Chauvin did not release pressure on his neck. Chauvin has killed multiple times before while in uniform, has shot and wounded others and is well-known to local activist groups.

The "thin" (very thin) blue line gets wider when the police form an us and them attitude after growing callous to the criminal environment that is dangerous and ever present. These people that become Policemen and women are adults that have made a decision that makes them responsible to uphold the law and the Constitution. That being said, there can be little question that their patience and emotions are going to be put to the test. Whenever it becomes obvious that their duty is becoming clouded due to events and actions of criminals they should consider a different career.
The current situation as demonstrated by video looks like the police completely over reacted to a man that wasn't resisting arrest and was handcuffed ! It is alleged that he was charged with forgery somehow related to a counterfeit $20 dollar bill ... ha ! Which even when it's a $20 dollar FRN it is already counterfeit.
It also appears that the folks witnessing this murder did restrain themselves but were calling for the cops to let him breathe and get in the police car.

Assaulting a cop is a serious charge and if you don't do it properly, you can die very easily. You definitely will get a serious beat down. I would like to think that were I there (and I have been on that specific sidewalk many times), I would have taken the risk to defend this guy and get him some opportunity to breath. Well before the 5-minute mark.

I get your drift for sure. I can also see the day when cops simply writing a speeding ticket on the side of the road will be shot or run over by citizens that are sick and tired of police brutality that has been allowed to go unfettered or protected through bullshit immunity clauses in law.

Ada, I grew up in the inner-city of Indianapolis, Indiana. I also lived in the hardship side of town where red necks and niggers fought each other everyday. We had riots all of the time at the High School I graduated from that had 10,000 students in a 50/50 proportion between black and white attendees.
I also knew the cops where I lived. One was having kids rob homes of people he knew were away. Another told me how he and his brother ilk drove up and down "Indiana Blvd" (negro area) drinking beer and shooting their guns over black people's heads. So, I'm aware of the fact that cops are criminals too and get away with a lot of shit. I also see the mere firing of a rogue cop as nothing to deter their illicit activities.
That cop deserves the death penalty.
Side Note: I grew up in a very mixed but separated environment. I had as many good experiences with blacks as I had bad ones. This racial divide needs to be put down so Americans can unite to suppress the bullies in government.

When my wife watched that cop snuff flick on teebee, in horror, she called it murder.
