I've never had any use for this clown, but he's making a surprising amount of sense here. He mentions his own home -- "They were throwing hammers at my residential windows". So he's getting personally 'mugged by reality' and terrified of exiting his own front door. That'll do it in all of 3 cases per hundred journos!
