Bronson Stocking from Townhall reports, The Biden campaign has asked Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) to undergo vetting procedures for the vice- presidential nomination, CBS News reported on Thursday. Sen. Klobuchar is reportedly one of several women currently under consideration to be Joe Biden’s running mate.

As of October 2018, Klobuchar has an "F" rating from the National Rifle Association (NRA) for supporting gun control legislation.

In the wake of the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting, Klobuchar participated in the Chris Murphy gun control filibuster.
