I figured as much. The 11th Ward was always a powerhouse for the Daley clan.

When I worked for he florist shop on north side, we would frequently deliver flowers to Mayor Richard J. Daley. There was an unmarked squad in the alley and we would give the flowers to them. I doubt the Mayor or his wife ever saw the flowers, but they got the card that was attached.

When we would deliver flowers to Richard M. Daley (before he was Mayor) we would ring the bell at their address and his wife came to the door. She was damn good looking. ;)

That comes in line with the ruling that police have no duty to the individual citizen, only to the public at large.

So if you have any trouble do not expect the police to be there to help you since that goes along with their duty to not provide protection for the individual citizen. ;)
