WESTMINSTER, S.C. — An Upstate newspaper has issued an apology after an 'offensive, editorial cartoon' was published in Wednesday's edition.

The cartoon was posted in the Seneca Journal and was done by national cartoonist Al Goodwyn.

It depicted the Democratic Party as a donkey on a sofa with a beer and the "black community" as a woman with small children explaining why she can't leave "him."

The cartoon reads, "We've been together for decades. Plus, he says we'd never survive on our own".....

Note that whatever dummy wrote this has no idea what commas are for ('offensive, editorial cartoon').

Things sometimes are simply the way things are and often times those directly involved see them differently than those peripherally touched by them. As an example: a couple of guys go to work on a project and during the course of the project run into numerous obstacles and problems but eventually complete the task. The boss (back in the office) sees them come in from the job and says, Geez guys, what the hell took you so long I could have done that in half the time.

How can they blame this cartoonist or the paper for a meme that depicts the lefties and blacks the way they are generally depicted. Look at the rioters, blacks have greasy dred locks, pants sagging around their butt crack, nose rings, prison tattoos, and being fair and balanced my opinion is they toned it down a little before publishing it.

I mean they didn't have the little baby screaming expletives or the mama sucking on a crack pipe, did they ?

They didn't portray them as walking down the street saying, yeah, we'll hit the protest on the way to the Social Security Office and then it's off to the methadone clinic.

Or, the wife getting a collect call from the jail the old man's in and AXING him if he's gettin out from Covid-19 cause he's a Muslim.

Anyway, I think all of these protesting punks are a little butt sore about nothing. I think they should quit whining and get a real job and stop acting like Al Sharpton, a guy that says he's a preacher but he's really a bitcher.
