Felony Murder...... So what the state intends to prove, beyond reasonable doubt, is that Rolfe was engaged in some felony crime which indirectly lead to the death of Brooks. About the only thing that could be was the attempt to arrest Brooks.

So it is now a felony crime, according to the state, for cops to arrest people for DUI.

This is so out in left field one could wonder if the blatant overcharging is intended to discredit the prosecution before it even comes before a judge. The prosecutors are sabotaging their own prosecution of the guy by displaying feigned incompetence?

That's as good a guess as any in these twilight zone days.

Last time I was in a courtroom the Prosecutor wanted to arraign someone that was not there. That was actual incompetence, not feigned in the least. ;)

I don't think so, honcho. If these cops should, somehow, get a fair trial and are acquitted, every Wendy's franchise will burn with a lot of other stuff.

Per StraitGate's post earlier: Never underestimate any government's ability to seat a jury that will convict you of any and all charges that the government decides to throw at you.

Same post: There is almost NO justice in this country, and even less for a white male who is politically incorrect.

There's a reason why I'm posting articles about pepper-ball (formerly paint-ball) guns. If I am forced to pick up a firearm because of a bunch of skateboarding, video-gaming retards, that live in their mother's basement, it WILL make national news.
