Undercover units are not used to prevent shootings. They are used to do drug busts and such.

The increase in shootings is likely due to the current social-political atmosphere of defunding police and such. Thugs just have more confidence they can get away with settling old scores.

Yes.

"Tyler Durden" (whatever person or collective that is) is hopelessly innumerate, and proves that almost daily. Comparing a single week to a single week a year ago means almost nothing.
