You think New York City is a lawless hellhole now? You’re right, it is. But it will get still worse when the moonbattery inspired by Black Lives Matter takes full effect:
Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) confirmed Monday that he will slash $1 billion from the budget of the New York City Police Department (NYPD), despite a surge in shootings in the wake of protests and violent unrest sparked by the death of George Floyd.
The point is to reward black supremacists and their allies for rioting.
In part, this is a shell game to placate the mob. For example, school safety agents will be transferred into the Department of Education. However, real damage will be caused. A class of about 1,100 new recruits has been canceled, at a time when officers have been retiring in droves for obvious reasons.
This isn’t the first time de Blasio and the City Council politburo took an axe to law enforcement on behalf of Black Lives Matter terrorists.
Plans to slash funding come after the New York Post reported that shootings in New York City surged following the NYPD’s recent decision to dismantle its plainclothes anti-crime unit. In the last nine days, 110 people have reportedly been shot in the Big Apple.
If black lives matter so much, launching the crime rate through the stratosphere will not prove beneficial. But nothing matters to the leftists running New York except grasping more power. Democrats must believe their war on cops will advance this objective.
People actually vote to have their cities if not their whole country destroyed by vermin like Bill de Blasio. This is testimony to the power of liberalism to derange the mind and the soul.
The $1 billion cut will buy more of this.

You couldn't pay me enough to live there. Closest I ever came was back in 1971 when I drove through it at night.
Been to Chicago a couple of times. Once in 1994 I remember going thru a drive thru window at McD's and a black bum came up to the car, holding a bottle of something or other and smoking a cigarette, asking for money.
My son who was around 16 at the time said to the guy "You know if you didn't drink and smoke you wouldn't need to ask for money."
The guy just walked away.

That averages out to over two per day.
On a wild night in Chicago there can be several shootings in a day.
Baltimore is right up there too.
One time myself and an older man took a trip from Chicago to Detroit area. The guy we were meeting told us, "If you see DETROIT CITY LIMITS sign, turn and go the other way. :-/

When I was almost 17, me and a kid I worked with at Ned's Supermarket took a trip to the Motor City in 1968 to see the Tigers play in the World Series.
We walked around downtown after the game, saw a few blacks but had no problems.
When I worked at Ned's, one time we stole a case of Stroh's beer by putting it in the incinerator, then driving around back to take it out after the store was closed.
It was probably 3.2 - back in those days you could drink 3.2 when you turned 18.

I graduated Grade School in Chicago in 1968.
I had a job every Sunday playing the organ in the Chapel at St. Andrew School. It paid $5 every day and I had to play two masses.
I can recall playing a wedding in the church on pipe organ too. And that paid $50. It was top dollar in those days. ;)

A drum solo? No.
But in the late 70s, these four girls had their birthdays in November. They rented a mansion in the suburbs to throw a party.
I drive the truck out there with the band in back.
I was sitting around and one of the girls comes running saying, "There's a fight by the beer bar."
I went over there and guys were standing on chairs beating on each other. I start to wade into the crowd. I grab this guy by the right arm. He tried to turn on me the other way. I grabbed his left arm. He slipped on the wet floor. I threw him down with a crash.
They looked at me and I pointed and said, "Cool it right now!"
They said, "It's cool."
That is how I go started in concert security. LOL
But the big shows didn't really start for me until the early 80s when I started working for Jam Productions. It didn't pay enough to get my ass kicked and I wouldn't let anyone do it to me. ;)
