A couple in Martinez, California, peacefully painted over the city-sanctioned giant yellow “Black Lives Matter” lettering in the middle of the road on the Fourth of July.

Police are now looking for the couple, likely harder than they are searching for the terrorists who ripped down statues, looted shops, and destroyed large chunks of cities across the nation.

“The narrative of police brutality. The narrative of oppression. The narrative of racism — it’s a lie,” the man told an upset onlooker.

He explained that he believed the giant Black Lives Matter state-sanctioned vandalism is itself racism.

The truth of the matter might just set all of us free.

People have no real obligation to "like" or "favor" any race. They do have an obligation to respect each other's rights despite their personal feelings.

Did Martinez, California pass a city ordinance which allowed painting BLACK LIVES MATTER on the street?

If so did that ordinance provide penalties for anyone painting over that in the street?

Inquiring minds want to know. ;)
