Joe Bidens appeal to voters seems to rest on three factors: One, hed restore normalcy to the Oval Office and act like a grownup; two, hes a political moderate; and three (related to the other two), people think the country is generally going off the rails and want to punish everyone they consider responsible for said derailment.
By November, Biden will still be Biden a guy Americans know and more or less trust, at least by todays standards, when politicians are unpopular. By fall, though, the country may or may not still seem like its going off the rails. If it doesnt, the focus will return to Bidens reputation for moderation. How well will that hold up?
Since wrapping up the Democratic Party nomination in March, Biden has done the opposite of what youd think and resisted any urge to tack back toward the center on economic matters. A CNBC reporter, Robert Frank, looked into Bidens tax hikes and noted that they dwarf Hillary Clintons. He put the total tax cost of Clintons proposals at $1.5 trillion; Bidens, at $4 trillion. (The details are here.) Bidens unity task force of economic advisers and environmental activists was staffed not to appeal to the center but to placate supporters of Bernie Sanders by including two Sanders aides and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Biden is now talking about using the COVID-19 crisis as an opportunity to rewrite the economy, recalling Rahm Emanuels wish to never let a crisis go to waste.
NBC News reports that Bidens advisory team and the Democratic Party are pushing for far more aggressive actions on multiple fronts than many were considering at the start of the campaign. Ocasio-Cortez polls badly. It would be unwise for Biden to allow himself to be associated with her brand of economic and environmentalist thinking. A Biden who carefully refused to commit himself to any kind of radical economic program but focused solely on offering a change of leadership style would be an attractive candidate. Instead, Biden has been saying that recent events have caused the U.S. to need some revolutionary institutional changes. He has praised his task force for offering a bold, transformative platform for our party and for our country. He said in a tweet that we wont just rebuild this nation well transform it.
Americans want relief from all the drama, not for the uncertainty and turmoil to take on a different shape.

That is understandable.
Forty million black voters need to be taken care of.Blacks have furnished the muscle, time for Biden to repay them.

What work are they doing? Certainly looting and pillaging is not gainful employment. ;)

No, but they were damned good at it, AND it's tax-free!
The bonus plan.

Wal Mart here loses hundreds of dollars a month to shoplifters.
Looting is not like shoplifting since it occurs on a mass basis. The losses could be in the thousands or tens of thousands. :-/

Bullshit, Trump finally brought back some dignity and sanity to the presidency, the first since Reagan.
Bullshit, he's suffering from dementia and is to the left of Stalin.
It is, thanks to the dem/commies.
Dems/commies, again. Any clarification needed?

When he was late I put the word out on him.
Someone told me they saw him going into Food & Liquors store on main drag. So I drove over there and caught him coming out front door.
I stepped out of the truck and hollered at him, "Come out here!" on traffic side of truck.
I said to him, "So where is my money?" He starts to give me a line of BS. So I grab him by his shirt and say, "If you don't get my money to me FAST, (I look left and there is a car coming.) you might have an accident."
I pushed him back. He rocked back on his heels. I pulled him back just before the car hit him. It was so close the car stopped.
His eyes got big around and he screamed at me, "YOU'RE ON DRUGS! YOU GOTTA BE ON DRUGS!"
I had my cash the next day.
I told that story on The Chicago Outfit Facebook page. One of those guys said, "You would have made a good enforcer."
I told this story to the priest at the Catholic church. He thought I meant Dirty Harry.
I told him, "No. These guys were gangsters." ROTFLOL

It's been a long time since I've watched Rambo.
One time when working a concert I had to beat the crap out of a couple of assholes.
My boss who had been in 'Nam said, "Yeah, Tex got some." LOL
