Racial politics has never been about a search for causation within the community but for historical blame outside. So when all the confederate and founding father statues are torn down and police are defunded and cash bail is outlawed nationwide and reparations are paid, the heavens will open and black teenagers will no longer get pregnant, drug dealers will disappear from the streets, gangbangers will throw their guns in the river and go home and read a book, and fathers will suddenly reappear in households across the country.
