Not too sure about sticking any charges.
The Prosecutor was out of line to tell the Crime Lab to make that pistol operative. The evidence was thus altered and the whole case should be thrown out.
Mrs. McCloskey was crazy to wave an inoperable pistol at a crowd she was not sure whether none of the participants were armed themselves. ;)
