My mother passed away the 1st of August. The house sure seems empty without her but I know she is in a far better place and will never be sick or hurt again. Love you mom, RIP.

My poor mother is dead for many years now. She would not take care of herself and watch her blood pressure. It got her kidneys. She died from complications from kidney disease. ;-/

So sorry to learn of your loss, James. My mother passed in August of 2014.
If anybody missed it, be sure to click on the link in the article.
I have a stone plaque for my mother on my desk that reads:
to lose you,
but you didn't go alone,
part of me went with you,
the day God called
you home.
Godspeed, James.

(Once we become orphans, our own mortality kinda hits home. Or at least it did for me.)

However, I share in your grief. I have gone through the loss of both parents in the last years, and know what you have to bear.
Bless you James, and bless your mother.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. - John 11:25-26

Yes, for that I am very thankful. Knowing that she will never again have any sickness or pain and knowing that when my time is up I will see her again and never have to say goodbye means the world to me.

Thank you my friend. Mom was seeing the destruction going on all around us and she was not happy about it. But she understood that it was signs of the times and she was ready to go to her eternal home.

Thank you very much. I remind myself of that every day, that she is happy and in a better place.
