Democratic operative David Axelrod says that California Senator Kamala Harris wasn't Joe Biden's top choice for running-mate, and that Harris was picked because of political optics.
"He reportedly clicked well with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, but she would not have fulfilled the desire of those who prioritized a candidate of color," wrote Axelrod in a CNN Op-Ed. "Whitmer, a White moderate pick, also would have raised questions among supporters of progressive champion Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, widely viewed after a lifetime of advocacy and a strong campaign for president as a tough, brilliant and capable policymaker. But some also saw Warren as the most polarizing of the potential candidates, who would have been offered by Trump as evidence that the moderate Biden is merely a Trojan Horse for the left."
"In the end, Biden seriously considered others but returned to Harris as the 'do no harm' candidate, unlikely to thrill or outrage many. She may not seem the most comfortable fit as a governing partner, a quality Biden said he was seeking, but Harris was viewed as the safest pick to win in November," Axelrod continued.
Harris was picked after Biden promised to pick a female running mate, while a group of powerful black leaders insisted earlier in the week that the former Vice President will lose the election without a black VP.

In order to appeal to disaffected black voters who might lean toward protest voting (Kanye) or not voting (2016), Democrats ingeniously picked the one black candidate whose parents are not from America, whose ancestors had slaves, and who spent her career locking up black men.

Witless Whitmer!!. What a maroon. She was killing covid patients. The voters in Michigan despise her. Biden had to read a transcript to get through a brief phone call to Harris. And now we learn even more about her that should have been enough to disqualify her as a candidate. Biden might have to give up the nomination.

One difference will be that after the election, the leash comes off of Trump.

Hellary was accounted some 3 million more popular votes than Trump. The dems in 2020 have another 4 years' worth of government school educated leftist voters -- so brainwashed that they believe wearing a Trump hat makes somebody a Nazi -- another several millions of illegal immigrants' kids reached voting age, and 4 more years to hone their vote cheating skills (including the latest scam -- everybody vote by mail or online).
All those people who voted for Obama twice and Hellary once are still around, and they've undoubtedly added to their numbers in the last four years.
Trump got elected for two reasons: 1) He was supposed to be an outsider -- a maverick -- and he was going to drain the swamp. So a lot of lifelong dems crossed over. 2) The dems ran Hellary.
Trump hasn't kept a lot of his campaign promises, and most of his staffers are swamp creatures -- from the slime on the bottom. And Hellary (apparently) ain't runnin' this time. (Even though I predicted she would -- even gave my dad 2:1 odds that she would be the next US president. I thought surely the dems won't really run Biden. If Hellary doesn't run and beat Trump I'll owe my dad 20 dollars.)

Yes, barring massive election fraud.
