A 17-year-old boy was charged with murder in the first degree after opening fire on three anarchist rioters in two seperate incidents.
The accused, Kyle Rittenhouse, is from Antioch, Illinois, just 21 miles from Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Rittenhouse traveled to Kenosha with his AR-15 in order to protect small business owners and citizens who were being victimized after being abandoned by their state government and police.
Footage obtained by anti-extremism watchdog AntifaWatch shows the first shooting. In the video, a masked man named Joseph D. Rosenbaum is shown chasing Rittenhouse and throwing what some have claimed may have been an improvised explosive, but this has not yet been confirmed. Rittenhouse then shot Rosenbaum in the head as he charged and tried to take his rifle, an injury the attacker later died of.
Earlier in the night, Rosenbaum, who is Jewish, was shown violently antagonizing the armed men, shouting Shoot me, Nigga!
After Rosenbaum was shot, a mob of anarchists pursued Rittenhouse as he attempted to flee. The young man then fell to the ground as the antifa members began attacking him. Rittenhouse opened fire against two of the attackers, one who was armed with a handgun.
One member of the gang, Anthony W. Huber, died after being shot in the chest. The armed assailant, Gaige Paul Grosskreutz, suffered a gruesome gunshot wound to the arm but survived.
The media has jumped into action to paint Rittenhouse as a white supremacist domestic terrorist and the anarchists who were shot as innocent peaceful protesters. But the facts bring this narrative into question.

What exactly is the "much else" you lament that the folks here are shirking?
If you've done a lot of said "much else" yourself, please let us know about it. You might inspire us! We can learn from you! I can't wait!

Good proportional response for him.
At that gas station though... that looked more like return fire to me. I dont believe he shot first.
Then the mob came after him and he rightfully defended himself again.
Thing is, the cops and system he reveres will throw him under the bus without hesitation to save their own skins. I pray he is acquitted or otherwise found not guilty. And i pray he makes it out of the jail alive and unharmed.

Meanwhile, back in Kenosha, Kyle Rittenhouse sits in a jail cell and will never see the light of day again.

Oh, I don't know about that. It's not like the state will have an easy time in getting 12 jurists to all find him guilty.

I wonder if that might be a valid representative cross section of all rioters? Certainly the opportunity to riot and loot at will would attract criminal elements to events like these.

2) The prosecutors are clearly politically compromised, which was evident enough in the press release about this kid fleeing justice by going to a different state. Only they found him at his home not far from Kenosha. The prosecutors certainly issued that press release, worded as it was, to appease the rioters.
Given all the rioting is really about the upcoming election and will continue until then, the prosecutors won't start offering an honest review of the circumstances until the rioting is over, if even then. So the kid may very well be in jail until the election. The same goes for the guy who hit rioters playing in the street and the self defense shooting in Austin a month ago.
As for a civil suit, that obviously would mean the kid is no longer in jail and would also be settled by a jury. The criminal past of the 3 guys he shot would also be admissible, I believe, which won't be admissible for any criminal trial.

they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
Death to America! Oh wait, that is what the Iranians cry. :-/

(Never bully a guy with a rifle. Never try to run down a man armed with a deadly weapon. Have you ever seen grown-up children so stupid?)

GoFundMe deletes fundraiser for accused Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse, promotes campaign for his victim
The URL for his legal defense fundraiser Help us Free Kyle!, set up by his father Tom Rittenhouse, still appears in Google searches but redirects to a page not found notice on the GoFundMe website.
Meanwhile, GoFundMe is directing people to the campaign for Anthony Huber, one of the two men allegedly shot dead by Rittenhouse during the violent altercation, describing him as a hero who gave his life and tried to save others.
This move was not popular online, as Hubers alleged history of domestic violence has been discussed widely among those critical of the mainstream narrative about the shooting incident.
One of Rittenhouses other alleged shooting victims was found to be a registered sex offender by online sleuths.
Elsewhere, a GoFundMe page for Jacob Blake, whose shooting at the hands of the Kenosha police department sparked the current spate of riots and protests, has accrued over $1.6 million in donations, despite the fact that he reportedly admitted to having a knife on his person prior to the shooting.

So much for innocent until proven guilty.
Unless, of course, you have a criminal record.

I have always been a hard working man. I used to drive trucks coast to coast, both team and solo. Seen a lot of wrecks but never involved in any. ;)

When I lived in Chicago in late 70s, several of us went on a hit on he Ricans that lived about 8 blocks north of us.
Six guys walked around the corner. A couple minutes later they came running back around the same corner. The Ricans were right behind them.
A couple of them caught one guy and were hitting him in the head with a cane. He reached up and grabbed them both by their fros and bashed their faces into the brick wall of the building there.
Then I'm hollering, "Is everyone in?" I took off and there was a Rican with a crutch. He wanted to put it across my windshield. I flicked the steering wheel right and BING he went flying.
I sailed around the corner and one guy was hanging on the back of the truck. He went flying off. I got down a block away and did a U-turn in the middle of the major intersection and picked up the guy that flew off the back of the truck.
The guy the Ricans were hitting in the head with the cane beat us back to the hood on foot. :-O
I am very lucky to recall any of this.
