I believe Galatians 3 comes into play here. Galatians 3:16, 17 - 29. 'Thy seed is Christ', verse 16 and verse 29, those who belong to Him.

The Israelites were in Egypt 430 years to the day, but it turns out they were afflicted only when "a new king who knew not Joseph" arose, which was about 200 years after they arrived.

I think Genesis 15:13-14 applies to us.

A Noahide Law site admits the Israelites were not afflicted 400 years in Egypt:

"...In general, Maimonides establishes that there is an inherent unclarity regarding the particulars of the “war of Gog and Magog” and the related events described by the prophets: “All these and similar matters cannot be definitely known by man until they occur.”4

It is certainly worth mentioning that this was written just 22 years before the Holocaust. In hindsight, our most recent history has seen Jewish suffering match—maybe even outdo—any of the biblical descriptions of Gog and Magog.

It is clearly stated in the Law Review that the Jews are the property of the Norman and Anglo-Saxon Kings. It also explains that the Talmud is the law of the land. Looong time ago I was reading the charters and such, and saw where the Northern Colony [we really follow the pattern of the first Israel - the Northern Colony led the Southern Colony into idolatry: https://biblehub.com/micah/1-13.htm , https://biblehub.com/micah/1-5.htm , https://biblehub.com/amos/8-14.htm (there's another verse I want, but it escapes me right now)], gave their charter back to The Crown, because "those crosses" from the Southern Colony were burning down their synagogues [er, churches]. Right then and there I thought to myself, something is not quite right. That doesn't sound like something Christians would do. So, the affliction COULD be said to have started then.

Also, I have learned that some of the slaves that were brought from Africa were already Christians when they were captured and brought to America! So the affliction could have started then.

At any rate we're all here now fulfilling the 400 years of affliction the way I see it. Jesus DID say in Galatians 4 that the unbelieving Jews/Jerusalem was in captivity with her children.
