Why Kamala Harris will lose in November

In a bit of chutzpah worthy of Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris told Americans during a roundtable to be ready for "a Harris administration, together with Joe Biden as the president of the United States." She quickly corrected herself, but by then, Humpty-Dumpty had crashed to the ground.

A day later, talking about jobs and educational programs for military members and their families, Biden said this:

For example, making it easy to carry your professional credentials with you from one state to another when your spouse moves. Harris- Biden administration is going to relaunch that effort and keep pushing further to make it easier for military spouses and veterans to find meaningful careers[.]

What's going on here? Here are some scenarios. Take your pick.

> Biden and Harris are both addle-brained; it's just a matter of degree.
> Joe is scared of Harris and the left generally and didn't dare correct her.
> Joe's wife wears the pants in the family, so he's used to being second.
> Joe was just reading from a script as usual, doing as he's told.
> Joe was afraid of being accused of sexism and/or racism if he corrected Harris.
> Harris thinks she's already in charge and doesn't need to clear anything with the Biden people.
> Harris was admitting what everyone knows: Biden is senile and won't be making decisions in their administration.
> Joe is often confused. He doesn't know where he is, which day it is, whether it's about Iraq or Iran, and so on.
> Joe was predicting who'll be running the show.
> Biden sees Harris as a female Obama and obediently put himself second, which is where he was for eight years. Old habits die hard.

Though you didn't see this admitted on CNN or the rest of them, one key reason Hillary Clinton lost the election is that millions of Americans perceived Clinton, correctly, as an ambitious, heartless, corrupt, arrogant harpy. These attributes are also present in Harris, who is an AA/EOE "twofer" to boot: female and "person of color." The latter is why she got the V.P. spot, despite dropping out after a disastrous campaign for the top position.

Americans absolutely detest arrogant politicians. A "Harris-Biden" or "Biden-Harris" administration is delusional. Forget about polls and other propaganda nonsense on the news, including Fox, claiming that the election will be close. It will be a blowout, because it's about sheer survival. The choice is simple: the rule of law or anarchy. Without blue lives, whom Republicans love and Democrats hate, we are at the mercy of the "mostly peaceful protesters" coddled by the Democrat press. We can't afford the security details Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer have, paid for by taxpayers.

Democrats have done absolutely nothing to disavow the rioting and the looting. On the contrary, there is a widespread and correct perception that they encouraged the mayhem, calculating that it would help elect them. This should boomerang and result in the removal of Nancy Pelosi as House speaker. President Trump will be able to work even more miracles with full congressional support during his second term.

BAR is not an acronym, it refers to the (usually symbolic) line separating court officials/functionaries from spectators.

In law, the bar is the legal profession as an institution. The term is a metonym for the line (or "bar") that separates the parts of a courtroom reserved for spectators and those reserved for participants in a trial such as lawyers.

Bar (law)

If the Judge invites you to "step inside the bar" he is inviting you into his court. Once there you are on the hot seat and if you say the wrong thing it could cost you dearly in time (contempt of court) and/or money (fines).

But one time I was sitting in a court room with a buddy. The Prosecutor wanted to arraign some guy that was not there.

The Judge knew that I knew my stuff. He said, "Mr. B, can we arraign this gentleman if he is NOT HERE?"

I said, "No Sir. He HAS TO BE HERE in order to arraign him."

That Prosecutor got egg on his face. LOL

In the court room, the average person has no standing to address the court. So you need a go between (lawyer) to speak for you. ;)

People who answer AIDS or HIV are not actually correct. She died of Hepatitis C.

The reason AIDS is thought to be the cause, is because it got a lot more news coverage when it was discovered, and seemed to have a greater impact upon our social conscious(ness).

During the period that Jenny died, AIDS and HIV were actually diagnosable. However, Hep C was not discovered at that time represented in the story, therefore she died of unknown causes.

Her lifestyle during the hippie years and throughout, was exactly the lifestyle which caused Hep C. Poor sanitation, sharing needles, drug use and sexual habits—hippie lifestyle—are the ways that Hep C finds its way into the human body.

Hep C has been around forever, but on the timeline of medical history, it has only been recently discovered; during the time frame of Jenny’s death in the story of Forrest Gump.

AIDS was known well before Hep C.

BTW, when I worked for the florist shop in Chicago making deliveries, one of the gay designers came down with Hepatitis B. He had jaundiced look in his eyes and we all had to get shots. He was also quarantined at home since Hep B is transmitted by bodily fluids. :-/

Brother, that is a beautiful rifle. I like .22 LR rifles. My wife loves my Ruger 10-22. I have a c. 1968 Belgian made Browning T-Bolt. We had a Weatherby Mark XXII when I was growing up. A few years ago I traded a like new pre-'68-ban Baby Browning .25 ACP for a Winchester 9422 lever action .22 LR.

My great uncle worked for Winchester. He co-designed the M1 Carbine. Then he designed machine guns for aircraft.

If I had to choose only one caliber weapon to own, it would be the .22LR; and if I had to chose one maker, it would be Browning. The only thing I don't "like" about Browning is their beautiful high-gloss finishes which are almost too pretty to take into the field.

Dad had a Challenger back in the early 70's. Beautiful. Smooth. I think he still has it, and I hope he leaves it to me instead of my brother.

I used to own a .45 LC derringer. You could use .410 shot shells in it. I had those with 3 000 shot in them. If you hit someone with that it would really ruin their day. I sold that back to the guy I bought it from. He said he was going to have it gold plated and mounted. No idea if he ever did it. ;)

No, he died several years ago. At age 91 as I recall.

The funeral home was on the road between his farm and town, and at his funeral we noted that he used to carry his produce to town on that very road with a horse drawn wagon.

He was captured at the Bulge after he and his buddies had run out of ammo and were overrun by overwhelming mechanized infantry. Liberated a few months later by Patton's 3rd Army.

Yes, I even have the Winchester 1897 my dad gave me for my 14th birthday. I've never owned a .17 but I do have a couple AMT .22mag autoloading pistols which are fairly rare.

I guess that I'm a collector of whatever strikes my fancy while fighting off hoarder tendencies. texasguntrader.com is where I look for items of interest. Maybe MI has a similar site for FTF transactions...

Years ago when I told my dad that I sold some guns to get the down payment for a house he got pretty upset. "Son we don't sell guns. We BUY guns!" Fortunately I hadn't sold any of the guns he had given me, only some I had bought since leaving home. Would love to have that Browning Model B-92 lever action .357 Mag back!

I still have the Winchester Model 94 .30-30 that my great uncle brought home from work c. 1935.
