Of the above I take the following daily and have improved my cholesterol and blood pressure without drugs.

Garlic and Kyolic, turmeric, black pepper and curry powder. Avocados. Niacin. Omega 3 fatty acids. (Chia seeds, Flaxseed oil.Cayenne capsules twice daily. Ginger root. Also a high vegetable diet. As part of the Keto diet I take coconut oil twice daily.

I never passed an echocardiogram before until I started taking a German herbal formula twice daily. Hawthorn Berries, Milk Thistle, Ginkgo Biloba, Bilberry extract, Cayenne and Kyolic. The original German formula was for garlic but I take Kyolic though I use garlic and Ginger in my cooking along with turmeric, black pepper and curry powder daily.

Ginger benefits. Anti-inflammatory.Protects Against Stomach Ulcers. May Inhibit Cancer Growth. Ginger Raises beneficial cholesterol and lowers bad cholesterol.

Cholesterol isn't the problem, at least as far as heart disease goes. Our brains are made of cholesterol.

It's sugar. White sugar in particular. It inflames the arteries, and the bodies response to that inflamation is to cover up the inflamed arteries with cholesterol. Or so the alternate theory goes.

Switch to raw or natural sugar. Not as sweet to the taste as it still contains lots of other nutrients, but much healthier.

PS: I think the "bad" cholesterol theory is flawed. If the cholesterol was truly bad, then it wouldn't exist in the human body. We have it because it serves a purpose.

Cane sugar seems to be a hell of a lot less harmful than HFCS, that stuff is poison. It basically gels in the liver rather than being processed like sucrose.
