There were so many troops running from the fighting in Europe that Ike made an example of Pvt Eddie Slovik. He was tried as a deserter and executed. ;)

Ike was a Swedish Jew. At the end of the war, he left tens of thousands of German POWs out in the open. Many of them died from exposure. Those were Ike's war crimes. :-/

After I started working for the State of Illinois in 1980, I was in The Brothers Tavern for a couple beers after work.

This guy came on the TV during the afternoon news. It seems he found his long lost brother. It turned out it was one of the designers a the gay florist I used to make deliveries for and set up Jewish weddings and parties like Bar Mitzvahs.
